Why's my car so slow?
im not running a constant 24psi, it just spikes to 24 and taper to somewhere around 22 less. hard to be exact since my defi-d guage has only 3 lines in between 20 and 25 psi. Here is my log a couple of days after I flashed my car with the Jestr M1 and rename the file to .csv to view in excel. and ill do a compression test asap.

from the information you just gave me in the very first post I could tell you what could automatically and possibly get you down to 12.6 with the same driving. Those 18's you put on have a drastic effect on rotational mass. You better check the weight on those because I'm guessing they are heavier. I might be wrong and they could be the same weight as 17's but thats still slightly more that the wheel has to turn to get up to speed. If they are heavier then I would go with lighter than stock and same size wheels just to see if that would work. But then again thats me, it's "your" car.

You say that as if it's different for the rest of us, but it's not. No one runs a constant psi - we all taper. When I say I run 22psi on pump gas (93oct), that means it SPIKES to 22psi, then tapers down to 19psi. It does not mean that I spike somewhere higher than 22 and taper down to 22. 24 is too high on pump gas. You should be running a PEAK of 22psi and should only spike to 24 is on race gas.
I couldn't agree more, but I will add this... When you go to the track its always a good idea to put race gas in your tank... Your running your car to its max, its like liquid insurance... its just a good idea
If your boosing to 24lbs on regular gas I garentee you are knocking and your putting your motor at some serious damage risks

your wheels can have a slight impact on your times/mph
Might be something as simple as a tune-up also. New spark plugs never hurt. A 24psi spike may be causing it to knock and the ecu to pull timing, which will slow you down quite a bit.
