My RNR 50trim times from GLD
Had a chance to run the car up at the Great Lakes Dragaway this evening(4/17/07). I came away very happy with the cars current state of tune. My driving is a whole other issue though.

I got four runs in within an hour of arriving. My best ET came first with a lousy 1.76 60'. After that, I just couldn't get any decent traction. On my last three runs, you can see that I got all 1.8 60's and was also bogging 2nd. Regardless of the traction problems, I still have a lot to improve upon in my shifting. That will come with more seat time.
I didn't make any changes to my tuning until right before the last run. All other runs were off my street tuning from this last weekend. Before the last run, I increased timing advance up top by 1-2 degrees and then ran the 125mph. After that I was quite pleased with the power the car was making and figured I would call it a night. Didn't feel it was necessary to push it anymore and risk breaking something.
Overall I'm very happy with the car's power. Nothing feels better than building/tuning a car yourself and having it all come together in the end. Here are the relevant mods btw.

RnR non-bb 50 trim kit- wastegate recirculated

Man...NICE traps, and GREAT looking car. Im assuming this is on pump 93 since you are running alky and you didnt mention race gas. Nice ET! There is room for improvement, but definitely not bad at all. Love those P45s!

Yes you are correct. This is with straight 93oct + 100% meth. I forgot to mention that and just added it to my post. As for the clutch, it seems to be holding the power just fine at this point. Time will tell though. Thanks guys for the compliments.

Nice times, looks like you got your tune dialed in. It's a lot different trying to launch the car compared to stock turbo. Hopefully I can head out to GLD and try my hand at getting some better 60' as well. It's funny how people think the non-bb is a turd when in reality you are giving up barely any spool/response to the bb housing. I should have you touch up my tune and see what power is still on the table. Great runs

You're definitely capable of driving your car to a low 11. You pulled an 11.5 with a 1.97 60' to my 1.76. Get your 60' down to a low 1.7 or better with the same driving and you're looking at an easy 11.1-11.2. And definitely, if we get together sometime, I would have no problem taking a look at your tune. See if there's anything I can suggest.

That clutch holding up pretty good for you?
