The last time I went to the track I ran consistent 1.6 60ft. I dont know what it was on the "street" but it felt about the same. My 2step is set to 5,400rpm and builds about 6lbs of boost. Since the last time i launched the car I have added the flywheel/clutch package. I tried launching it several times today on a dead end road behind my buddy's shop. The car bogs every time... I have tried slipping the clutch and ive tried dumping the clutch. Any other suggestions?
Thanks
P.S. I also have never launched the car using the Greddy EBC. Only the DNA MBC

it was set before the clutch package was installed... im a little concerned about upping the RPM on the 2step... im very fond of my transfer case... if it were your MR.. what would you raise the limiter 2? The clutch is a 6 puck ceramic with an exedy pressure plate and flywheel... im also a wondering why the car only builds 6lbs of boost on the 2step...
Fond of your transfer case and 6 puck dont really go together
And yes your now bogging because you went with a lighter flywheel. If you dont want to bog youll need to either raise your 2 step or slip the clutch more.

I have an MR with an Exedy twin disc and launch the car from 5500 - 6500 depending on the track and have well over 300 launches on the car. The last time I looked at my logs, I was starting at around 7psi when I first started stuttering and right before my MPH changed from 0 - 15mph in the logs, I saw 20psi. The amount of boost you build really depends on how hard the cut is set on the stutter and the size of the turbo.
I would say to raise it to 5800rpm's and go from there. If you still bog raise it alittle more. Also make sure your giving it alittle slip and not just side-stepping, that will save your t-case.
The RPM will depend on the track, how fast you are slipping the clutch, how good your tires are, etc. For me, it is something that changes nearly every time I go to the track.
