Bone Stock VS. ECU Flash 12.7@110

My best bone stock was 13.0@102.77mph.

Today @ E-town, Big Al hooked me up with Just a flash. Everything else is still stock (sotck intake, clutch, exhaust, full weight. Etc), ran 12.7@110
The stock clutch does not like the extra power

hey sam congrts, good 60 fts. you need to cut down the weight bro and add basic mods and the car will fly. I was there but did not run cuz i did not have time but i seen al run, unfortunately he ran a red light. let me know when your going down to the track...

Wow- great results ! Glad the base flash worked out for you!

I would suggest a 3" turbo back exhuast system and a air intake, MBC and fuel pump with a retune

That set up will get you into the mid to high 11's on race gas and is every bit as reliable as a 100% bone stock car.

Thanks again for your post - it made my day after red lighting

Actually I am admited to practice law but I choose not to (I used to do that in the past but grew unhappy with the legal profession)

That's a pretty good gain for a base flash, driving aside.

I assume you ran with 93 octane?

It was really invaluable for myself to see the significant gains in an A - B manner at the track. I have seen it a 1,000 times on the dyno, however, its nice to see it on a time slip.

I may try and set up a flashing test / trial at a drag event in the future.

Do you mean Lebanon Valley Dragway in New Lebanon, NY? Wasnt aware we had a dragway in CT. Maybe back in the 1970-80s.

Questions for the OP:

All runs were on pump gas.

Throttle is more responsive and crispy.
Steve, I have no plans to keep on rag racing it, at least not with the stock clutch. This was my 3rd time to the track with this car. I just take it here and there for a shake down.
