i agree 100%...i think this is the stupidest thing that CA has done...people who kill people street racing learn there lesson...

promise you will not see a Z06, lambo, M3, M5, ferrari, bently GT, or any porche...get crushed....BTW those were all cars i have seen street racing...

this is a slap at the import community. domestics wont be crushed either. its funny how they crush those cars for street racing and those cars cant even reach high speeds like the cars listed above...

Even more reason for performance driving schools and handling mods. If they're gonna try and crush my Evo she'll run for her life.

they should just take your car and sell it... they can at least make a profit on it instead of crushing it

If I did get spotted street racing. I'm not stopping.....makes it even more dangerous.
Knowing my car is at risk. I'm barely living good. And to pay a loan on somthing I don't have 20k+. Hell nah.

But yet Drunk Drivers and DUI's go with VERY VERY light punishments. ****ed up if you ask me.

I think if you get a DUI they should crush your car. I bet there would be a lot less people driving drunk then!
nod.! about drunk drivers! and crushing their cars! sorry but this is just wayyyy off. Maybe this is just fake to scare people.

i'm guessing if your a repeat offender they'll crush it.... and if your involved in organized illegal street racing they might go ape and decide to crush it. ... just hope if your in an evo speeding they won't consider it street racing.

Unfortunately I think this will be the most common result. I don't race my car on the street and haven't even been to the track yet. So I'm not worried about myself being a victim of this, but as cliche as it is, boys will be boys and street racing will not stop. And if those "boys" think their car will be crushed they're not going to stop and will run. If they already know the consequence and still race, what makes you think they'll willingly accept the consequence if caught? They already broke the law by racing in the first place, so breaking the law again by running in order to save their car is no big deal to them.

idk but they act like they never raced someone in there life...everyone on this site has street raced...maybe not with your evo but with something before it...i can say this because if you bought an evo you are all about performance and speed and anyone who buys cars for that reason wants to see what its made of...plain and simple
im not saying that you got a group together and lined up for money....but everyone has raced someone else on the street...if not you would be driving a geo metro and wouldnt be on this forum because you dont care about speed or performance

Oh my We've been through this already, there was a long as thread about this not too long ago. Look people if you get caught street racing the cops are not going to crush your car, they do have the right to impound your vehicle and only in certain situationscan they crush a vehicle.

I would have to agree..If my evo or my project 7 were at risk of being destroyed..hell I already know I'm faster than a cop car..so its floored..
Before anyone chimes in with your not faster than a radio...well no ****!!! but some fast directional changes when you get a good lead will go a long way.

I can see cracking down on street racers

However - the co cal cops are real a holes and they also crack down on people who modfiy cars - even if you are simply parked on the side of the road

When I inquired wy they were buscting my ***** for sitting in a car trying to tune the idle = they said "people like you are street racers"

So cal has great women and creat wether - crappy cops
