DTM 50trim 11.31 @ 125
I addressed everything you just said in my response to him. I prefer to have realistic goals and then go from there. Alot of people make CLAIMS and that's why I did not make a claim (see definitions). I was supposed to go to the track Friday but had a family emergency. I should be heading out this weekend though. Warrtalon has a long history of giving me **** on the local boards and EvoM so I know exactly what he's doing when he makes comments like he did. I'll be sure to post up my results. Mason and I have almost identical set-ups (his turbo is a bit larger) but other than that I should be able to be within 5 mph and .3 or .4
Sorry if you already addressed this, but when does the turbo hit peak boost? Do you have boost curves that you could post along with the dyno? Congrats and good luck at the track!
It hits the 30 psi that I'm running around 4800-4900 rpm, I don't have boost curves unfortunately and I need to get a re-print of the graph because the one I have also has the stock turbo dyno on there and it's very hard to read the lines. I haven't been at the shop since I started school though.
Thanks by the way!

Went back to the track Friday. I was mainly shooting for low 60ft so I can get better time before I get the boot. I have to say the track was not in great condition. They were spraying way too much water for the Pro guys to burn out. I had two ok runs. I was not going to push it unless I see a good launch. I think I had like 5 runs all together. Three I just let off because the 60ft wasnt what I wanted.
My first run was 1.80 60ft 11.4 @ 126. I hit this run because I wanted to make sure my trap didnt change. Got a warning.
My last run before I left was 1.77 60ft 11.5 @ 127. I let off close to the end because I wanted to go back for more. Got the boot.
I'm going back this Friday again.

What a surprise. A DTM thread and your on here spreading your negativity as usual.
First of all, I have made 3 passes with the car when it was at 330 whp. I understand it's not alot but I do have a stock clutch and wasn't too keen on having to replace it so early in the cars life. I allowed Nick to make a few more on the car because I made the trip out to the track but was shut down because of my age.
Now, I didn't say unlike most people I GO to the track, I said unlike most people I WILL. Of course, your selective reading skills seem to always choose to skip these minute details. I see dyno charts all day long on EvoM and very rarely see track times on aftermarket turbo set ups. Go check out the official DCEVOCLUB drag times and see who is #2, #3, and #5. Oh, DTM EVOS!
Let me draw from some of your sponsors so my claims have some evidence.
What did turkishexpress's car run in the 1/4? Memo? We have dyno charts, but what do those mean in the "real world". Ok, moving on.
I never made a claim. If your unfamiliar with what a claim is, let me remind you.
Claim: Verb: To state to be true, especially when open to question; assert or maintain.
I clearly used the words "think" and "dunno", which is slang for "don't know".
Think: To have or formulate in the mind. To reason about or reflect on; ponder: To believe; suppose: To expect; hope:
Honestly, if it doesn't trap 120, I will be disappointed. If it does, hooray. If not, then we will address it then.
As far as the power differences go when looking at the dyno chart I did not realize the tq and hp Y axis were scaled differently. There is 50 more ft/lbs of torque and about 45 more whp. My mistake on that.
I've never exaggerated numbers (at least on purpose), I've always shown dyno charts.
I'm 18 years old, so please treat me like an adult. You can ask anyone who has met me in person if my age does my behavior/demeanor/knowledge justice.
I get the money by selling crack then smoking whatever left over as you can tell.

Nice times man. aim for those 10's before you get deployed/permanately banned from CRapitol. LOL
You should try an MIR run since their track is so much better. It's worth the trip.

It will be awesome if I can get it before I head out. I will try to make it to MIR but it's kinda hard because I alway have something going on Fridays to be driving that far.
Try going down on a Sunday for Test and Tune. Its not as crowded as Midnight Madness. If you get there when the gates open you can pretty much hot lap at least 3 runs before the staging lanes fill at all.
you have the trap for 10's, now you just need the launch and track prep to be right

Yea, i'm not too worry about the power its making. I'm going to try and slip the clutch a little bit more this Friday. Hopefully Crapitol wont have a puddle of water this time...LOL.

You need to develop a groove and consistency. That will make you react and time the launch and shifting much quicker.
