Last Weekend was the first Armdrop Live event at Immokalee Raceway, FL. In this new form of bracket racing, the drivers are given a "Death Card" number. The first racer to the end of the track without breaking the Death Card number wins. After the drivers got the hang of this new format it resulted in some great "Cat and Mouse" drag racing.

Here are some photos from this event. Races brought everything from Trucks, Bikes, Quads, Muscle Cars, and Rail Dragster to this event in hopes to take home the $10,000 cash prize.

The Final $10,000 Winner Takes All Race:
Staging

The Launch - Death Card = 7.45s

The Win at 7.50s That was Close !!

Labonte MotorSports would like to congratulate Jimmy Wells for his win at the First ArmDrop Live event, Great Racing Jimmy !!!

We would also like to Thank Rich Christensen, Brian Bossone, the entire ArmDrop Live crew, Ralph and the entire staff at Immokalee for a great event.

Not at this time, I also wish there was. FL was a 24hr drive from IL. But it was a great event and will do it again.

Highly recommend that if ArmDrop is in your area to go check it out, it will only get better.

A tree is used to stage the cars. As soon as thier staged, the Death Card number comes up. The drivers have about 1 sec to determine how they are going to run the race (almost a chess game) before Rich drops his arms for Green.

Then it is cat and mouse racing down the track. A good racer will try and lead the other drive on til the end and get him to break out faster then the Death Card. Almost a form of chicken with the cars going in the same direction.

Toronto Motorsports Park was a great event!!! If you have a chance to check out one of these events, do so. Armdrop live is packed full of great cars and awesome cat and mouse drag racing.

Thanks Canada for the great event and the Tim Horton's - best coffee I have had in long time
