BTW....Tony and Tom, I completely forgot to tell you...congrats on the 9 second pass. That has to feel pretty damn good to do it the way you did it. You could have went the easy route and thrown the 35R on and been down in DB's territory, but you kept to your stock appearing turbo roots!

Nah, First of all, DB's terrirtory isn't that easy to accomplish and I don't think we're even close. Secondly, I like the stock appearing stuff. If we don't have class rules to race under, at least we can limit our selves to certain criteria. Stock appearing/Non-Stock Appearing at least keeps us divided. The only thing I'd like to see is a weight factor. Maybe less than 2800 w/o driver and 2800+. That way we could have 4 good reasonably close classes.
Thanks for the kudos. It's been a real trip, that's for sure. Hope to drop our times before the end of the year. Get after it. We need everybody on the team in the 9's.

BTW Tom I was driving the other day and man it was hot as he** outside, guess what I did? Yep that right, turned on the A/C... it felt so damn gooood! Later that night I was taking some girl home and she wanted to sit in my lap, it was alittle tight in the seat with her facing me so I opened the Sunroof
After all that a cute little puppy ran out in front me... thank god I had ABS, I almost hit that little puppy walking across the street

Haha, I didn't see this thread all day. Tom sent me an IM this morning telling me he was just busting my ***** and I had no idea what he was talking about. Now I know. haha
I think what started this little rivalry was me saying I was going to the track tomorrow to help out Tim/Jeff/Brian. I want ALL of the high horsepower cars we built this year (and for the last 20 years for that matter) to run in the 9's this year! I didn't mean I wanted anyone to do it to bump someone else from the list.
It's also funny to read about the reminders of the cars that were going 8's this year. I've been hearing how easy it is since we did it the first time, 3 years ago. There are still only 3-8 second EVO's in the USA. It isn't so easy.
Looking back on it I sure wish we hadn't gutted the black car and at this point in time I wish I'd have saved $17,000 last winter putting a rear end under it. What a mistake. I suppose if and when we pull of some new unbelievable record I won't feel the same, but right now...........
