Thanks Scott. We have 2 events coming up here in the next few weeks. Some new goodies just showed up for Brandon's car and there are a few more that will be showing up by the end of the week. The plan is to have his car tearing up the track this weekend if all goes well.

Mike, Now that Petros has stated that his run was 402.336 meters (exactly the same 1/4 mile we run here) which is regulated by the FIA, are going to add him to the list?

If not, maybe you should change the name of the list to "Fastest Evos in the USA for 2008"

At a bare minimum you can change the heading for the noteworthy Evos to 402.336 Meters / 1/4 mile.

 

I didnt see that sorry.. Ill add him back in no problem.. As i said when i took over the list it was USA only and i hadnt realized.. Obviously he is worthy of being on the list.. Ill add him back in and arrange the list again..

Nice work guys.. You are hanging tight in the middle of the list with just an FP RED.. This season has been nuts.. 20+ cars in the 9's says something about how deadly the evo platform is!!

 

You have Petros listed twice in the MPH list.

It is amazing there are that many EVO's in the 9's this year. The year isn't over yet either. There may be another one or two added to the 8's if things go well.

I bet before the 31st of December the list could go to 25 in the 9's or quicker.

You do a great job on the list Mike.

 

Mike is a classy guy. In lieu of the miserable presidential choices we face in the upcomming election - I plan to write in Mike for President.

 

Mike is a good guy and I'm glad he came forward when I announced I dind't have the time to run the list anymore. He's done a great job!!!! Even though it does get to be a PITA sometimes!

I'd love to see 25 evos in the 9's- just amazing. Wondering how many are full wieght, and wondering if any have AC?

 

Thanks guys for all the comments.. I hoped everyone would appreciate it. I have as much a passion for the 1/4 mile as anyone on the forum so I take a lot of pride in keeping things up to date..

I dont care what anyone tells me.. You will not find 25 of any make or model 4cyl car to run 9's all in 1 year.. The EVO is hands down the baddest 4cyl 9 sec platform on the market.. I am proud to keep this list updated.. All the other Honda, Nissan, Subaru, Neon forums should envy every person that can make this list.. It is an ELITE group of guys on the list!! Congrats to everyone!!

On that note.. I am putting my RS on this list before years end.. so watch out!!
