Lol...we turned down the boost to 35psi and it ran 9.2 w/ 1.5 60ft



It seams to be harder but I believe is going to be good once Oscar and Rolo get's it Dialing can wait to see 45lb psi and 1.3 60ft


We know that with a small turbo is easy to drive ! but with a 42r it takes real drivers to step up their game and without a dogbox is even harder


so NO nitrous/ NO Dog box / new42R is a new game!,



I think is was not bad for our 1st time back in the track, after 2 years out off the game

I was there New Years Eve a few years back when you guys tuned it for what I think was the first time. I remember you brought pizza and wings. I had my little civic hatch then waiting to get on there, but not wanting to be totally humiliated by what you guys were going to do. LOL. I will be in Orlando this New Years also, would love to see that thing now....

Eddie no one is doubting your car is a street car. What Mike wanted was for you to post the results in the format that everyone else have done it. Basically he needs a rundown of the time slip to the point because everyone else is very close results wise on the list. Also list the date, shop name affilation, car type, motor and turbo size, just to name a few.

 

Ill update it properly with 4294 turbo.. its not an NHRA TURBO STREET CAR though sorry.. Lexan disqualifies you from that class.. Im not trying to take anything away but i am sure everyone on the list will agree Lexan windows makes it a race car..

NHRA TURBO STREET is GLASS WINDOWS.. its not my opinion its facts that were written in the rule book.. No staging brake, no carbon roof only trunk and hood were allowed also..

 

Procco's EVO is a street car.
It might not be a 'NHRA Street Class' car according to the old non existent rules but it's a street driven car.

 

Like crisspeed said,Lets not talk about illegal or non existent nhra rule book last time I check all tracks can not allowed due to safety, any car that run 9 sec or traps 150+ mph required a 10 point cage,parachute,driveshaft loop that I know you and others Evos in the country dont have and are claiming records totally illegal so they can have the upper hand by 300 + pounds diference

Procco you are missing the point.. you made a list of your cars setup and in that list it said " NHRA TURBO STREET CAR "..

IT IS NOT AN NHRA TURBO STREET CAR.. my car says NHRA TURBO STREET CAR because in january when i was running NHRA TURBO STREET CLASS my car was 100% LEGAL in every way..

This has nothing to do with your car at all.. maybe call me and i can explain better on the phone than on the internet.. your not reading what i am typing correctly maybe..

 

You are right its not a " NHRA TURBO STREET CAR " it is a daily driven legal street and any track legal car.
