Looks good I would have just made/purchased a rear undertray/diffuser instead of cutting my bumper.

This, plus rear diffuser work

Any air that might get up there, will come out through the rear holes.

I am possibly gonna do this to my X.

Great.

It's bad enough to see street-driven Civics and Integras with these...now Evos?

To each his own.

and you don't think that it'll catch on with daily driven Evos?

I hear it cause lift on our cars? A guy that I know that works in Indy on F1 cars informed me.

I think its a cool mod dont get me wrong. To the OP... dont you think that just smoothing out the underside of the car would be a better idea. That way not all the air is getting jammed up behind the bumper trying to rush out these holes and cause possible lift or turbulence of some kind?

is it such a bad idea? It could equate to better acceleration or even better, better gas millage.

If you didn't do it to be cool or a certain way or b/c you were afraid of what people will think, than you're just as bad as any "ricer"

I don't think anyone denies that a smooth underside would be better than this, but that takes countless hours of R&D and money in order to be provenly effective
