10.97 @ 125

Well I took my car out to the track this past Friday, I didnt get around to posting my times till now. I have been doing some changes in the suspension in hopes of getting the car to hook up better. My best run was a 10.97 @ 125 with a 1.49 60ft. I made 6 passes, all where with in a tenth. All where 1.50-1.53 60 fts. I ran 11.002, 11.03, 11.03, 11.05 and a 11.08. I am happy but think i can do better, this was all done on 93 pump gas and stock turbo housing from FP. No NOS, No meth, just plain ol 93. My scanner dont work but I will have Jarrod post up the slips tomorrow. My car is same build from last year just small turbo. Stage 3 motor and head stock ported manifold and throttle body. I plan on hitting the track again later in the week with some race gas, My goal is to run low 10's or a 9 with stock turbo housing!
Thanks Dave for the tune and help on friday, and thanks Robert From FP!

Nice laps Trent. By the way did you get my muffler done yet? I know you have been busy so it's no big deal, I have some parts 9sec9 will bring up to have you glue together. Thanks for the last minute weld job on the shield . Did you try the OK connection setup?. Indy

Congrats Trent

I borrowed Daves tires!

Last year I ran 10.6-10.8 on street tires with a 35r on pump gas, and now im only a couple tenths slower with 16,000 miles on the motor since the build! Motor is just as strong as the day it went in. I may be out of my mind to try and go for some sub 10's with this turbo but going to try like hell.

Congrats on the times! Its awesome to see the smaller turbos going fast. Is it a factory IX wheel in that turbo?

Edit* I see it says FP turbo in your sig, so I guess its a Green.

Nice job Trent. The stock appearing class is going to get tough this year. I think the smaller turbos are not only safer with the slower speeds and times, but also more competitive for the everyday Evo. Really makes the driving and setup an important part of the equation. The consistency is also a big plus. Hope to see you knocking off some low 10's soon.
