Nice to see this post here, you'll have to let us know the next time you go down there! We could also look at renting out the track for a local RochesterDSM test and tune which would likely allow us to run it regardless of the cage or not. It was about 5-6 years ago the last time we rented the track down there, looks like it's $600 for 1-10 people and $60 a head after that. Our cars were literally beat to the ground that day but we all had a ton of fun.

 

Do you mind if you share your tire/rims set up? Are you running inner tube? what psi on all 4 tires?

 

No tubes. They are 15x7 rotas. hoosier qtp's I cnt remember all the specs.

I am still on the stock block too, but not quite to that level . I need to upgrade my ignition and get a 5 bar map sensor so I can crank the boost up, only at 31psi now. I can probably add a little bit of timing, but not too much more. I am in the same situation you are though... need a cage.

BTW, what the hell was with that guy on the second run leaving as soon as the first amber lit up lol. He might be embarrassed that his full out race car might not beat your lowly street car by enough car lengths?
