IX RS Finally goes 10's
I'm not really sure where the negativity is coming from??? But here are the facts and I'm going to start being more aggressive with the hate and will respond accordingly. First off, you can't compare dyno to dyno. If you want to bring any of those 440 whp TTP cars to the track and show me what's up then bring it anytime. None have gone because they know what the results will be and they will not reflect 440 whp MD numbers. There I said it, bring anyone one of them and lets see the trap speeds. Secondly, I am planning on building a monster and needed an aem anyways. Did that give me a ton of hp, nope. But it gives me tuning options. Yes the big boys play hard. The turbo was failing and I decided to replace it for fun. And the tires were switched in hopes of better 60's. And yes, if I installed the slicks and made no other changes I could've easily driven a 10.90 pass out of it the way it sat. Could it have gone 10.7, highly doubt it. Are we done, nope. Are you going to see 10.4-10-50's from this car on stock turbo, YES. Now I will say it again. If anyone wants to step up and bring a TTP meth car with 8000 hp to the track, bring it anytime. I'll pay for the entrance fee This isn't about setting a car up for much less. It is about building a great track car with options down the road.

Man o man...I really wish it hadn't gotten to the "bring TTP 93oct+meth cars" to the track to compare times to your drag-prep'd evo. We all know the great lengths and attention to detail you've put into your vehicle to make it 2600lbs or so. I THINK all Cloud was saying is that it would've been nice to see Oscar drive your car before you changed your setup.
As far as I knew your first goal was to have your car run 10s with you driving it and without spending more money than you HAD to. Yes this journey is YOURS so you make all the decisions you have to, yet you also said you wanted to watch your wallet. You had planned to get a BR engine and a bigger turbo right, so why all of a sudden spend the dough on a meth kit, a new stock 9 turbo, and have Oscar drive?

, hope your shop is as fruitful as your other businesses someday. I have no hate towards TTP at all. Scott has been very nice to me and the car ran great on a stock ecu with his tune. What I don't like hearing are comparisons from people like cloud on the before to now. It doesn't matter. I did what I did for me and my future plans. You cannot compare a car's dyno numbers on different dynos on different days. This is not about a before and after. This is about now. The car is coming along and I intend to make it faster. Then its getting a fully built BR motor and I may try for 9's stock turbo just for fun and to give us all something to talk about.

It can be fun and a learning experience for everyone including me. In my mind, you have to keep pushing foward and trying new things. Some things work and some don't

Anyways, getting this thread in focus I want to comment on Oscar because that car took off, even with Most-Wanted driving that Bish was out... It was like.... bababababababababababa seeeeeee youuuuuuuu laaaaaaaa tterrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr... . I mean seriously, that thing is moving!!! Can't wait to see what else you can get out of it... Why not add a O-2 dump tube???
