I dont even know where to begin.. We drove up to test our car last tuesday and ran into problems with the AEM that set us back.. David and Daniel allowed us to use the entire shop at our disposal.. There was not 1 thing they couldnt give us we needed, including use of their lift and shop while they had their own work going on.. We were not able to make any clean passes at the track but we had great time making new friends all week long..

The turnout was beyond belief.. I would have never imagined this type of turnout with what is going on in the economy today.. That shows the true dedication from the DSM / EVO communites!! I raced NOPI all season and this race was hands down the best event we have been to!!

Jarrod and Nick got me squared away with a sh1tload of BR parts when i got there. Trent really humped out some last minute orders so we could pick up parts to bring home with us.. We really appreciate everything Trent!! Your fab work is impeccable!!! Nick and Jarrod, i know i am a pain in the *** running you guys around for parts and i was glad to meet you guys this weekend!! I will have some AWD shirts made up this week and sent up there for all the guys who we didnt have enough shirts for..

I am sure Ted doesnt get on here as that man is a serious WORKHORSE.. We appreciate everything you do.. You are a porting machine.. Please let him know i have a shirt for him and a lot more parts too for him to port..LOL

I met so many people this weekend and i hate to botch things up with names since i cant even remember everyones real name but you guys know who you are.. I have replied to alot of your posts in the DSM shootout threads.. All the BR supporters that were in his pits. Congratulations to all of you who ran your cars all day and drove them home. You guys put some fast cars on the trailer round after round..

Indy Evo- It was a pleasure to finally meet the man behind all the innovations thats gone on the last few months.. I am glad you could make it and we were able to discuss some future ideas you have to better the Evo community!!

Shearer - Your an animal bro.. You are exactly what i expected.. Straight shooter who doesnt beat around the bush!! Had fun hanging out, shooting the **** on Saturday night!!

Curt Brown - You are a driving maniac in a simple setup 1g.. I admire every car you put together.. No matter what it is you make it fast.. If it isnt fast you drive it fast.. 156mph traps on a FP HTA turbo in a street car is crazy!!! You handled your business during eliminations and put the favored Turbotrix car on the trailer as i expected you would pull off some CB magic.. Congrats to you sir!!!

Shep - Congrats on running 9's w/ your evo!! It was nice to meet you after all the work we have done together on getting my driveline problems near eliminated.. In this game if you arent breaking parts you arent going fast and unless Jesus himself designs an aftermarket tcase or tranny it can break.. You have helped us get every weak link sorted to make everything last as absolutely long as possible and not only do I appreciate it but so does my Tech Cwill..LOL

Congrats to Daniel on running a 8.96 on a baby turbo.. You are a machine on the shifter man.. Your Bushwacker Trans took everything you threw at it all weekend!! We really appreciate you allowing us to use the Buschur Automotive Facility!!!

David- I know i probably told you 10x this weekend how much i appreciate everything you did for us this weekend.. You bent over backwards for me and my entire crew all week. You really made us feel like we have be friends for years.. I look forward to many more years of working with BR!! I dont know what else to say except thanks for the best weekend of racing we have had this entire year!! You really know how to put on a great show..

AWD Crew- I came with 3 guys Crispeed ( My tuner and Crewchief ) , Cwill ( My Main Tech and Workhorse ) and Shaun ( Shipping and Recieving).. The guys dont just work for me or with me but are also my friends.. We have worked very hard this season to be able to attend so many events all over the East Coast.. I appreciate everything each of you guys do to keep this program going.. It would not be possible for me to have taken AWD Motorsports to the level it is today in such a short amount of time.. I cannot wait to get back home and get the car dialed in and run the 8 second pass we are shooting for before the end of this season. I know 100% for fact we will reach our goal!!

Mike and crew I wish I would have had more time to talk Friday, but I know how I get when working and you and the boys were hard at it. Saturday was insane I spent most of the day in or around 9sec9's trailer trying to stay out of the sun. I'm glad we had a chance to talk before I left. Like you said your are young, but old school. . Nice meeting you and the crew Mike, had a blast hanging out and racing, we both broke and will be back. This shootout was one of the best ever and ive been going since 1995, the turnout was huge and will continue to grow.

 

Hey Mike, sorry u didnt get a chance to run ur car. When u do get the bugs worked out, no doubt u will see some 8s out of the beast Im sure Curt Brown is proud that his old beast like Allstate is in good hands
