10.7 on 2.4 and 35r (video)

Finally got time to edit a video I took from last weekend. We really wanted to run better but had a few little issues that kept us from a better pass.

Also the vid is of a 10.8 pass the 10.7 did not get taped!

Hmmmm, sick car, but that track does look evil! If there ever was a track that seemed to have dip in it between the start and finish line, this one sure seems to fool the eye. Either the first half of the track is downhill, or the last section of the track before the traps is uphill. Based on the light poles vertical angle I'm thinking the later which means your getting robbed at the end of the track!

I've seen some tracks where the braking area after the traps is slightly uphill to help slowdown cars, but this one seems to raise before the quarter mile finish line.

Thanks guys.

The track is evil.. over the years some areas have sunk and there is some humps near the end which are very scary, on top of that, there is very, very little room to brake at the end. Needless to say we did not hold flat through the finish. It's so retarded we are considering a parachute for even our lame times!

Just been trying to learn some editing and effects so tried some things in the vid.

I could help you shave a few more tenths off.

I weigh less than Toufik.

Nice runs.

I missed the track again for this run but hope to catch you running live sometime soon.

Later

How much torque and horsepower is this thing producing? Just curious with the big stroker and this turbo.

Not sure. There is no engine dyno down here. If I had to guess about 700/600 at the crank on VP Import. But just a guess I dunno.

Thank you!

Also forgot to say thank you to my tuner Mark Shead, Eric @ AMS for answering every single last email, and John @ ShepTrans for all his help as well when I've hardly ordered a thing from him. Hope to have Shep trans one day though!
