Good work on the list findng all the times and videos - thanks for all your hard work - Tom you are the man
I was not motivated to go to the track lately and this list has got me in the mood
I may try and fly in Kevin Lawson the driver of the 9.1 street Evo RS to pilot my car, he is the world's best Evo driver and I am sure he can get my car into the 8's

I have a good serious question that occurred to me tonight while in my own zone...
How many of these 9 second Buschur cars have either Buschur's upgraded tranny or some form of an upgraded tranny?

It's 3:29 am.................I have a sleeping problem at times.
I was just going to suggest you added a spot for the actual drivers of the EVO's and I see you did that.
I owe a lot of thanks to Trent for driving my car for a LOT of passes and helping me get the car well into the 9's. I also owe thanks to Kevin for driving it the last few times out and getting the 9.1 out of it.
Quite a few of the guys on the list owe Trent the thanks too for putting their EVO's in the 9's.
It is no small task to drive an EVO into the 9's. If you listen to the road racers/autocrossers driving a car down the 1/4 mile requires no skill. I can tell you for a fact that non of them have ever driven a fast one. The difference between a truly talented driver in the 1/4 mile and a mediocre one like myself is very easily a 1/2 second at these power levels.
I'm very lucky to have two awesome drivers available.
My brother Daniel is a hell of a driver too, he's stuck driving the 8 second EVO and his own personal car, which I will supply data to in the morning for the list. He has two EVO's one of which ran 9.8 last year at full weight with a/c on radials. He's going to bring it out of retirement Friday night and see what it will do this year!!!
Last but not least. The answer to the transmission question.

I just thought that it was noteworthy to list only the Buschur built Evos that have run 9's this year. I would like only those that have actual motors with at least Buschur shortblocks. More than any other reason however, it was just to make note of the accomplishments of the group as a whole.
, the car has AMS intercooler piping and mini battery kit, some APR carbon fiber parts and some more stuff. The car made the record pass using Buschur Products and our store is the Buschur Racing dealer in PR so you know
Randy, My misunderstanding, I could have sworn that AMS made a trip down there when the engine was built. Maybe another car. I appreciate that the shop sells Buschur parts, but this list is not for just using Buschur parts, it's for Buschur Built cars. I'm sure you can see it's similarities to have posts that are Puerto Rico cars, or AMS cars, or ETS cars. This list is for Buschur Built cars with the prerequisit of at least having a built Buschur Racing Short Block. I've received several PM's and Emails by others wanting to be on the list, but without sticking to the requirements, the list would be meaningless as to it's principals. There are plenty of other lists that have been created for various cars. This one is simply for Buschur Built cars. I'm very impressed and the PR crew should be very proud of their accomplishments as well. They've created some of the fastest cars in the world. I don't know of any of those cars, however, that actually could be called a Buschur Built car. Maybe a Colo Built cars would be a good list to be started. Thanks for the input and this in no way disrespects ANY other Engine Builders, it simply points out the Buschur Built cars.
