Would've, should've, could've.... Damn I am so mad at myself. I guess the saying, "it's hard to teach an old dog new tricks" holds verey true in my situation. Ipurposely short shifetd every gear to avoid the lock out issues I have been warned about. The problem is I was short shifting a red set up LOL.. So basically I was seriously short shifting I felt like I handled the power fine, but just forgot I had alot more rpm to use. It was alot to handle and learn the first time out. The car inches forward now on the two step and I dont have a parking brake or staging brake. No question it will go 8's. I'm guessing 8.80@160. Here is the time slip. Looks like I'm number 2 until procco steps up with a slip

9.05 isn't anything to be upset about man- you had a good 60ft and have an amazing setup. You're a HELL of a driver and you KNOW you're going 8's.

It's the time between then and now that's the exciting part.

Thanks. Yeah, its just learning a new set up and I have never driven a big(not stock/stock appearing) turbo car and just kept forgetting about all the useful rpm. I watch the vid and its easy to sit here now and go WTF was I thinking. But being behind the wheel in the heat and getting ready launch is a whole nother ball game. Thats why I video everything. I know what I need to do now and have learned from my mistakes... 8's are around the corner. Vids are uploading and you will not believe this car went 9.0 with the way I was short shifting.....

Make sure your HG is still good if you popped the weephole on the waterpump. Most times if the weephole pops then it was caused by combustion gases.
