Top 20 Fastest/Quickest Stock Appearing Turbos for 2009...
DB, I plugged in our 9.20 run at 157.6 and it came up with 788 CRANK horsepower. That run was made just after we dyno'd 684 I believe. Since that was in 3rd gear, it would have easily been just over 700 in 4th. If you subtract my 74 from the 788, you arrive at 714, which is pretty darn close to reality in 4th gear. Especially since we made 731 or so on the HTA86 in 3rd gear shortly after that run, you can see how close the numbers are. The thing I like about using the calculator is the numbers will always work out to what was actually used in horsepower to make the run. The key is knowing exactly how much the car weighs and using the exact et and mph. Although MPH and ET both have different calculations to arrive at the crank horsepower, they will both tell you something a little bit different. I look at the MPH as telling you how much power the engine put down and the ET as to how well the driver did while USING that horsepower.
