It almost looks like the rearend falls out. It looks like it is coming from the back of the car whatever it is. I would say with that bouncy launch it didn't help the drivetrain any.

looks like it threw a rod/piston out of the block... that slow motion was crazy, you see the smoke come from the hood to the roof, to the back?

heheheh that's my car. It is a rod that came out, caused by a poor oil pressure. I knew I had the oil problem but didn't stop the track day and that is the result. Next time we better pay attention to the sensors. hahahahah

You had an old oil pump or something? How many miles was the pump?

Brand new oil pump. How many miles on the pump? Don't know just 15-18 dyno pulls and 1 full pass at the track. 1 pass we made 9.5 @ 155 mph with 1.8 in the 60'. On the 2nd pass the rod went out. We notice at the dyno that the oil preassure went to 60 psi dropping to 45psi but I didn't wanted to pay attention to that. Next time I should. Hehehe

Did you find out the cause why its dropping to 45psi? How much boost were you running?
