I didn't reach my 10.99 tonight as I had hoped but I did excellent considering the track conditions tonight. There was high humidity and a crap load of dew in the air that made traction a hell of a battle. Last time I went to the track I ran consistent 1.63's with a few 1.60-1.61 60ft's Tonight I was only able to muster a 1.636 but I still managed to best my previous 11.3 with an 11.090.

I'd say that tonight's results show that a 10.99 is potentially possible with my car on the stock turbo provided the traction conditions are ideal so I am now officially finished with the stock turbo and moving on to my FP Red that has been sitting in my garage for the last 2 months.

 

You're right there Chris. I vote to make 2 more trips out to try and hit that 10.

Easy for you guys to say. The closest track to me is almost 2 hours away. A hell of a trip to make a couple of runs before getting the boot for no cage. Honestly the only way i'd go back out with the stocker is if I had slicks to guarantee a great launch instead of hoping for decent track prep and low humidity. Will see, the Red isn't going on for atleast 2 more weeks.

 

What other mods are you running with meth?

 

Full boltons and cosworth M2 cams.

Thanks. I'm extremely confident 10's with my setup is definitely possible as well. It may take better tires though. I'd personally like to use a set of M/T 17inch motorcycle slicks for a pass or two. That should seal the deal for sure.
