i got my evo with Falkens FK452 235/45/17... after some mods i went to the track, and sux... i spin tires all first gear.. i have traction in second gear... i made 1.922 60 ft and 8.38 1/8 at 84.15 mph...

now my question is if this tires: Potenza RE050A II can help me... i know i can get best tires... but i have a friend with 255/40/17 Potenza RE050A II and he want $180 for the 4 tires...

what do you say??

Id say try them out thats a deal pending on tread life you cant find a set that cheap.

 

If you really want traction get the BFG drag radials. They have a 225-45-17. You will deff hook better with those.

 

For 180 bucks you can't really go wrong. And I like Potenza more then Falken. So, go for it.

 

tires installed..... i made some launches and works much better than falkens... i have stock clutch... and with this tires my clutch slip terrible!!..... i have one ACT clutch seat on my room... ready to install this week!!

now what air pressure is recomended??? i read some people says 27 psi front 24 psi rear....
