Cool 12.958 @ 105.00 Track times

My first time to the track in my Evo.

The first run really sucked, bogged & missed second gear.

Second run launch at 5500 rpms, through the gears prefect. Shifting at 7500-7800

Third run launch at 5200 rpms, through the gears prefect. Shifting at 7300-7700.

Anyway my times.

1st run
R/T 1.068
60" 2.771
1/8 9.922
Mph 80.21
1/4 14.723
Mph 102.92

2nd run

R/T .690
60" 1.821
1/8 8.269
Mph 84.28
1/4 12.958
Mph 105.00

3rd run

R/T .801
60" 1.825
1/8 8.324
Mph 84.07
1/4 13.043
Mph 104.03

I was hoping for low 13's too a 12.99 and I got 12.95 KICK Butt.

Nice work bro! Its funny how much of a delta in time you can get between a dailed-in run vs a bad run with bogging and missed shift! Just 93 octane, or race fuel? Boost still set for 1.4 bar?

Boost set at 1.4, Exxon 93 octane.

I forgot, runs where made with 3/4 tank of gas . I did not think about racing at the time I got gas.

Yes, I have Works 93 Reflash, the rev limiter is set at 7850.

Works reflash is kick butt, well worth the money.

As soon as my 264/264 hks cams and gears comes in, I will be going to a stand along ecu.

Hummm.... I might be going to a stand along ecu before I get my cams if they don't hurry it up and come in.

I have really enjoyed my reflash, but I think a stand along is the way to go if you really want to keep moding your car.

...or you can wait to see the news about the WORKS custom cams (mapped through the Brain Flash) before making the decision. Updates on this coming very soon.

If you want to run even quicker, fill up with race gas at the track and zero out the timing table so that no timing is pulled on in the XEDE's ignition timing table.

Even without getting into and tweaking the fuel table, this timing mod alone should be worth another 2-3mph judging by what I've seen on the dyno. Good trap speeds, btw. Making good power up there. Are you running the baseline map I emailed to you a couple of days ago?

Cheers,
Shiv
