Took her to the track (RA)

Ive been meaning to post up my numbers for a couple days. Went to Island Dragway on Fri and ran a 14.1 bone stock. I took a stage 3 SC cobalt SS, who ran 14.45, and thats onlt because the driver wasnt too good. still made me feel good, i know its usually hard to get "brochure numbers" at the track. Launched from 2k, got my reaction time down to .3, and still had a 2.2 to 60' but i ended with 14.119@98.6 Hopefully by summer i can get my stage 2 and really suprise some folks

Yeah that Cobalt must have been, I don't even know he really messed up lol. Anyway great numbers stock, wonder why 60' was so low even with launching, seems odd. Great time (for me) to get clarification on launching. Is it foot down on brake, ease onto throttle (1/4) till about 2k then lift from brake and slam the gas?

Launching is notoriously bad, and it takes a decent amount of getting used to. but yea just hold foot brake down, keep rpms around 2k, and right before the green comes on, drop the gas and let er rip

wow great times. if you could get a 2.0 60 ft that would put you about 13.9! would that be the first stock RA in the 13's?

i ran a 14.2 with IC piping and TBE. with a 60' of 2.2.

No, IDriveRA has been running mid 13's since the beginning of April.

He posted a 13.5 timeslip already! These cars can get fast with a few parts and a good tuner.

Sorry to get your hopes up, no. He's not stock. A few intercooler pipes, a stage 2 tune, and an intake I think. I see now you are looking for a stock RA to run 13's. I missed that before, sorry
