Buschur Car takes 1st @ Import Showdown AWD class!
My friends and I attended the Import Showdown in Reynolds, Ga @ SDR raceway. What a great day Sunday was! We were all worried about the rain and thankfully it was just North of the track. However, a storm system was making its way in so the pressure and DA were through the roof...again! I didn't get a 9 sec pass but I did win the AWD class w/ a 10.4@138! Very happy about that! It was an all Import race so there was a lot of FWD bringing water out of the box. It made for a very tricky launch. The best I was able to get on DR's was a 1.6. I also came out of the hole sideways a bunch and took a look at the wall once or twice...lol
BIG thanks to Buschur Racing for putting together a great car! This car has been running strong for a LONG time! I can't say enough about the top notch work that goes on up there in Wakeman Ohio.
Thanks to my friends for helping me all day and pushing me to do better! All in all a great day!

What was your closest competition and was this a heads up event? Wish we had more events to race at here in CA.

There were a few DSM's and Evo's. There was one Evo w/a 35R that was making some good passes. The final came down to me and a DSM that was sandbagging like a ****. He ran a 12.8, then a 11.8 and a 10.8 against me in the finals. Come to find out he was going against the rules because he has some twin motor comtraption!
They took his trophy and money and gave it to 3rd place...which was an Evo! LOL
