1 and done at Lebanon Valley tonight

Just got back from my first and only run in the car. ran an 11.55 at 115 and got asked to leave. I think they noticed that i lifted off with about 50 feet to go. Said I had to have a fire coat and likely will need a cage if i keep my foot in it. I will post the time slip and a short vid in a second.

I was hoping after some of you more experienced guys see the vid and the slip that you could give me an educated guess as to what i would have run if i held on to the stripe.

Also, i saw a pretty modded-up, white evo with a chute from ct pulling in but didn't get to stick around for times. Anyone know the car? It had a cf trunk and hood. I couldn't read the stickers on the rear glass.

btw, the car is a 2.3 stroker running an aem and put down 550 at the wheels at 35 psi, but i only ran 26 psi tonight as i switched from a regular 35r to an hta 86 and have not had the car re-tuned.

Was it professionally tuned prior to the turbo upgrade or by somebody like AL?

thats strange that they kicked out even from the first pass... I think even at Etown you to actually make a couple of passes under 11.49 in order to have a problem!

I am seeing more and more people on here complaining of being kicked out of the track, which is sweet because that means there are more and more mean Evos rolling around.

Nice pass! sounds like a pretty strict track.

That sucks about the track only letting you make one pass. Usually you have to be able to repeat the run to get in trouble. I was going to bring my evo there for some test runs. Oh well I will do it anyway. Then off to the next track.

i would have told them to break out the nhra rule book and suck a big one. you are no where near the 135mph mark for a cage and jacket and didnt even hit the magic mark of 11.49 or faster even if you were lifting. Thats bull shat! nice run BTW.

Seems odd on the early kickout, does that mean if someone makes a 12 sec pass after lifting at the 1/8 they will kick you out for "looking like trouble"...

I'm guessing high 10's @ 125-128 range seems doable at 35 psi if your HP figures are correct, maybe faster if you ace the launch. Usually they will warn you first so you can turn down the boost and slow down the car to 11.5+, they must be some foreign car hating bastages there.

i later found out that there is a fire jacket rule for under 12 seconds. that was supposedly the problem. the guy at the end of the track did mention the cage too, probably since i'd be below 11.49 if i hadn't lifted. thanks for all the compliments guys.
