Regardless i believe w/ the slip and the vid + what the announcer said clearly that we have a WINNER!

I'm not on the list as a contender so it don't matter lol.

DAMN that thing hauls *** after it launches WOW!
It was a test and tune night at Atco... Most of the people dont want their times and mph posted... especially with the No Time Nationals this weekend... Alex's NHRA license number is on the top of all of the 8 second passes though and like you pointed out you can clearly hear the announcer and then my dumb *** repeating what the announcer had just said... Fact is the car's been in the 8's 3 times this week and is only going to get faster. The Mph continus to climb, the car is still not 60 footing worth of $h*t and it still continues to be a wild ride and its a blast to watch the little improvements every time the car goes down the track!

Here is how it plays out, we went to Etown for Sunday test and tune 9am-6pm, got there at 2pm and unloaded the car just to here the announcer say” staging lanes close in 10minutes“ . We rush up to get a 3rd gear test pull with no video camera. I was not going to make a full pass. Well this big tire pro stock looking grand am does a killer burnout. Like every other racer when challenged I could not help but stay in it lol.

My friend Tom runs up and yells congrats I was like for what. 8.86 at 167 holly sh** it was at low boost . At that point the track was closed. I held back from posting about winning here hopping we could find some one with a vid. Being fair to others and sticking to the rules. We knew what to do. BACK IT UP.
We went to Atco Tuesday nigh test and tune. 1st pass low boost I pulled the car out of 2nd early and ran 9.2.
Next pass up against a big tire s-10 good pass bad 60 . At the end of the track I get the news 8.75 but the s-10 was nt; however, the announcer said the time out loud and you can here it on the vid. Sweet we had it locked up. There was so much attention from the tech guy, announcer, and lots of domestic guys that if it ever was questioned, we would have plenty proof.

Great now lets turn her up a bit. As luck would have it a car broke a rear in front of us. Between the track and extra power the car was a hand full. Log showed it was peddled 7 times and went 9.0.
Last pass we turn the boost back down. 1.59 60 and 8.8 at 170mph. Still NT. I *****ed about the nt and the answer was lots of testing for the no time nationals and they don’t wont people pissed. Ok no biggy.

On to more important things,. Big thanks to Sparktech for putting this contest on. It pushed us and many others. We are proud to have participated and couldn’t have done it without Sparktechs ignition.

I have received NO pm's from any contender on the list that have any objections to declaring Dog Box Racing as the Official WINNERS

Congrats it's Official. Job well done

We appreciate your participation in the competition and at the pace you going it looks like we might have to get a 7sec Bounty ready
