IveyTune @ Summer Slam 09
The IveyTune crew is pleased to announce that our trip to Englishtown this past weekend was a successful outing!
Sunday ended with another piece of hardware Team IveyTune’s trophy cabinet! We left Englishtown with our third win at Summer Slam, which will probably be our last competitive weekend with the Supra for this year. At this point we feel that we have taken the Supra as far as we want. Now we are going to turn our attention to the drag EVO program, along with a road racing effort for the near future.
The information and experience gained from going out on weekends and actively racing cars is unlike any you can gain from the internet or other forms of literature. Not many can say that they own a 9 second 150mph+ car that can run down the ¼ mile all day without popping the hood, breaking a part, or any sort of mishap. This is a true testament to the level of preparation and care that goes into building a fast, reliable machine.
Ivey Tune is currently thriving, taking in customer cars from around the US and turning them either into performance street machines or devastatingly quick track cars. We look forward to our new and upcoming adventures into the road racing scene, and getting our Drag Evo going even faster!

Congrats on the win i watched all the videos on honda-tech and boy does that Supra move......and it looks soo nice doing so!
I figured something was up when i saw your mph fluctuating every run LOL.
Do you mind sharing a brief mod list on the Supra?
Can't wait to see what you do w/ Evo this year what goal do you have for it?

The Supra ran 1.48 60ft, 4.10 330, 6.2@118 in the final but I had to get off it top of 3rd due to a warning earlier about lack of safety equip. It ran a 9.75@146 in my easy qualifying pass with a 6.4 in the 1/8th. It can go 9.5 or faster on a full bore pass with all the boost in maybe 9.3s. It has ac PS and all that and I have no intention of ruining the car to make it a full drag car.
It has gt 42 turbo and sometimes I use a 75 shot depending on the track conditions. 3660lb with me in it.
Nothing really crazy, motor built by us, triple plate clutch, trd rear end. Carbon fiber driveshaft by titan. Dual Bosch pumps for fuel, like our evo.
Best so far with a 1.61 60ft is 9.73@153mph.
We have no more time to mess with it this yr, as we have to get back in focus for august.

Drag racing without a sanctioning body has made these events more enjoyable for sure, as before it was so cutthroat there was no time to smile and talk, and now we can!
After seeing the car run 9.7 earlier in the day I think everybody knew what it was going to look like in the end
