Roll cage in a DD

How many of guys have roll cages in their daily drivers? Reason I ask is the only 1/4 track close to me requires a roll cage for 11.49 and lower. So I just recently purchased one off a guy up in atlanta that meets all requirements and look forward to having it but want to know if it's more of a pain to have one or not. Here's what mine looks like:

had one in my honda i plan on buying the same as you have for the evo but with the door bars you should just take out your rear seats since nobody can sit there

I probably will. This is the best one I could find where you don't sacrifice comfortability and function at the same time.

Damn I guess I read over that on their site. Well it won't take much to put a few welds in so they won't complain.

I have the best 6 point cage for a DD. I built it all myself and it came out sweet. I can have 5 people in the car with no problems at all, and its good for 10.00.

If I had a good track to run at that I could actually hook up on I'd be well past that. If only Holt was a 1/4 not a 1/8...

mine is a dd with a 6 point, backseat is worthless and it's harder to get in and out... it's all welded up. The only real issue is getting in an accident without a helmet, you are pretty much dead if you hit your head on the roll bar. and you might look funny wearing a helmet to the grocery store!

do you have the bar that runs at the top of the windshield as well? What about door bars?

no, 2 points on the backseat back rest, 2 points on the rear floor, and two points on the front floor, there is a bar going diagonal from the rear hoop to the front floor.
