I met him in person 3 years ago. He is stealthly as hell, very low key, definately a humble dude not cocky at all.
He brought his insane Evo fully carbon fiber today at import face off in Tucson and did a pass of 160mph in front of my eyes with a 60ft of like 3 sec(bogged twice). We are talking about 160mph in Tucson and bogging badly(twice).

If this dude can do 160mph here at this altitude(3100 ft in Tucson SIR) and with poor 60ft you might want to write down his recipe of parts. I saw his water front mount intercooler and a huge turbo on the far right corner of the bumper. The car is fully stripped and it has full carbon exterior(doors, trunk, fenders, hood).

If someone can be so kind to post the pics for me. Please pm me with your e-mail and I will send you some pictures so that you can post them here. All I can say is that this dude is and his car is no bull**** fast.

Not to start a war of vendors but I think he uses AMS parts and the turbo was a GT42. My pictures will show everything, he had no bumper or hood when I took the pictures. By the way, he wiped the competition trap speed wise(there were Supras on trailers, 9 Sec Hondas)

Well, I just got a tip that this is a built AMS Evo 8 putting 1100 WHP and had no tune for Tucson altitude.

I just did the NHRA altitude conversion chart and it comes to 164-165 MPH equivalent to sea level. Not bad in my book.

Sounds like Gabe Chavez's "carbon copy" drag car clone. He probably didn't compensate for the 2 step with the altitude. It's going to need to be raised a lot with the thin air.

The guy definately looks hispanic (Gabe Chavez), so I am connecting the dots. Pictures will arrive soon. Another person from another forum also mentioned the fact of altitude compensation. Apparently there were not adjustments made.

That is a badass car. I thought ams did an exact replica. Maybe I'm wrong.

Ams had this car at the shootout at englishtown last year. Car was making its first passes i believe and it was badass. Def a lot of potential. There probably are a few videos around here from the event.
