Launching the car with slicks

All, is there any special technique needed to launch the car when running slicks?

I am running
- MT ET Streets 26X10.5 on a set of 15X8 inch Bogart Rims
- Motec M800 with 2 step making 1 bar of boost on a GT4094R
- Boost limited to 1 bar until 40mph

A couple of options I am considering are
- Preload the suspension by using the hand brake
- Turning the boost up to 1.4 bar at the line
- Limiting boost to 1.5 bar until 40mph then letting it go up to 2.3 bar

Any suggestions from those running slicks will be appreciated.

This thread should be in driving techniques.
