Clutch for Drag? need help!

Hi,

I've got lancer evo-2 (800hp). 2.1 liter long rod + sheptrans dog box. My best result is 8.85sec.
My last clutch was carbonetic 3-disk carbon. It has bad durability.
I'm looking for new clutch for 2010 season. Which is the best for my goal?

With the times you're running, you shouldn't need anyone's help.

That's a hard find, I think you might already be putting down to much WHP to go with the QuarterMaster Twin Disc 7.25" V-Drive Clutch / Flywheel.

We ran the Carbonetic triple in 2008 & 2009, bad *** clutch, but they don't last very long.
Two clutches left in a season. It's becoming quite expensive ))

You're right about QuarterMaster Twin, they said 700hp it is maximum.

I know the STM team (AUS version) is running a quartermaster triple. MAybe you can get in touch with them and find out the specifics, as I don't think its an off-the-shelf clutch.

Yes I've heard about Tilton carbon, but nobody in our country use it. So it can be very expensive experiment ))

Exedy looks like heavy piece of metal.
