Congrats Kouzman! I have the same tires and rims. 20 psi in the rear and 21 in the front and dry launch them prior to the tree. Cut me some 1.56s on a slick cold track

Where these bran new BFG's? Most tires after a while get better to race on. Need to break them in.

I know you say you are on a stock head. But do you at least have cams?

stock unported head and stock valves. The only the I have is cosworth m2 cams and dual supertech valves and ti retainers. The head is being held with l19 studs on the stock headgasket.

The tires were brand new. Hopefully next time and after some miles they will become better.

I think we'll see some better times to come for sure. I agree with Kouzman for not power shifting his 1st time out with the setup running properly. A car making this much power runs thru the high rpm's very fast. It takes some seat time before you get comfortable doing this. Im sure after some more track time he may go to powershifts. Good job!

You r right. Sunday was my first time ever on the drag radials and the coilovers. Didn't know what to expect and my main concern was to launch the car straight and shift gears properlyon the fresh gearbox.

Most of my shifts In all five passes were very decent and most of them under 0.4sec... The boost was recovering pretty fast and I could even hear it theat the turbo wasn't loosing lots of spool like before...

But there is no arguement that the car, even with my 'average' driving is pretty fast! And the only thing I did to go home was to inflate the tires, get my buddy on the passenger's seat and drive it back 72 miles! I didn't switch maps, or tires, or bolt back half of my interior or trailer it!

Ohhh and I filled up at the shell station by the track bc gas there is like 40-45 cents cheaper than new York!!!!!

Nice trap speed!!! That ***** is moving!!! How do you like the apexi coilovers? Are they harsher than stock suspension? I'm looking at N1 or S1 coilovers for my evo. Keep of the good work

Thanks man!

It definitely feels great. Although the ET was marginal, the traps really showed what the car is capable of!

I will add me, thanks!

Thank your brother again man! He did the work. The shop he works at is very close to my house and i knew they could find me the tires in a heartbeat since they are working with Tirerack!

I actually tried them on the full soft side, both front and back! They are definitely softer than the stock struts with Tanabe springs, which helps to launch the car better! The car now sits on its **** and just goes straight!
