I've been reving that motor that high now for two years. Buschur knows how to build a solid motor

My rev limiter is set to 8900 just incase of a high trap speed. Buschur doesnt recommend the 2.3L going anything above 8000 I believe is what he told me in the past

2 step is at 6700 if I remember correctly.

 

8900rpm on 2.3l ???? :O u have I Beam and Knife Edge Crank ??? :/
