Nice times, but I was also impressed with the big Chevy that beat you on the first run!!! That is a monster for an old school heavy sled, that did not look the part.

Good driving.

Actually that chevy ran a 10.288. The clock dont start till you leave i forget what they call that setup. But i was surprised by how fast it was.

That will be sick if it is a rental day tomorrow and well be able to get some passes in. Hopefully the track will be as good as it was friday night.

I am surprised nobody said anything about how i held the wheel on the 2nd pass except Emery when we were watching the video that night. lol.

lol@how you were holding the steering wheel. You were holding it like you were driving a 18-wheeler! Great driving though.

Very clean passes!
Your lucky you got even one run, over here if you even hint of going faster then 11.49 they boot ya. You guys are lucky over there haha

On a side note, what are you revving to? Where are you shifting it at? Kinda hard to tell by the video but it looks like 8000-8500rpm?

Great job! I'm very impressed with those numbers, and it looked to me you were lift shifting the whole way too!

Yea i have to work on my shifting. Im still getting used to driving it again. I shift around 8000-8300.

She does run great a true testiment to STM's work and tuning. She runs very consistant. Emery went the other night and they wouldnt let him take it down the track till they were closing.(guess my car is black listed) It ended up doing a 10.06.

Holding the steering wheel with one hand at 12 o'clock and running 140MPH in the quarter is pretty gangster.

Oh its coming. I deploy in a month so the car will be back under the knife for a few "small" things. Probably just a cage and maybe some dry carbon hood/trunk.

any NHRA track is 11.49 or faster requires a 5 point roll bar, 9.99 requires a 8 point roll cage
13.99 and slower, battery tie down, good tires (no corded tires) and no cracked windsheilds
13.99 and quicker Helmet and if you have an aftermarket turbo you will need a single layer fire jacket, If your car came factory with a turbo, you do not need a fire jacket.
11.49-10.00 5 point min. roll bar, 5 point NHRA SFI approved harness, helmet, fire jacket, scatter shield for the transmission.

IHRA tracks usually do not follow these rules, but most nhra tracks are very strict

buddy of mine just got kicked for runnin 11.493 or some BS
