Best Drag Radial

Which DR is better on the street? For hooking in a straight line.

-Mickey Thompson ET Street Radials

-BFGoodrich g-Force T/A Drag Radials

The BF Goodrich is average at best, but it's not bad. That's what I used last summer to run my best of 11.46 at 121 mph. But it definitely helped over Z1 Star Specs where I was always running 11.6's to 11.8's. Never tried the MT's. There is a relatively new Nitto Drag Radial that you should look into also.

I really wouldn't drive any of them for the street. They are all garbage in the rain.

Not if you stay under 5mph!

But for real dont plan on using them in anything but ideal conditions.

M&H Racemaster are what we run in DOT drag street tires. Not a radial but work very well. We run 9s on x4 235-60-15s.

same thing I run, worlds better than the BFG I was trying to use previously and it's a lighter wheel/tire combo.

The G60 is a 245-60-15 when you get away from the alphanumeric sizing of the 70s. The next size up is the 275-50-15 which is also a 26 and around 10" tread I believe.

Oh, wow thats a wide tire for such little tread width. The 275/50-15 MT drag radials have 10.5" wide tread.
