The buzz this year is bigger than any year in the past. Usually it's quiet until after the race. I think anyone who misses it is going to really be missing out! Just a few weeks left!

Good lord your car is so pretty, Scott. I'm so ready!! We've got 2 new builds in the shop getting ready for the event. A white 98 GSX and a silver Evo VIII. Going to be a fun couple weeks.

I wish I were racing!! Ill still enjoy seeing every gtfd, good luck to everyone still buttoning everything up. I just fired mine for the fist time tonight so I feel the ones pushing to get theirs done to race.

 

Well a few last minute changes. Number one Buschur Racing is sponsoring the QUICK 16 class. Yes, now it is a 16 car field. I had it set up before as an unlimited entry of cars BUT that was designed around a Gamblers race hoping for a large number of guys paying to enter so the pay out was bigger. I see NO sense in allowing 40 cars of any speed to get into Quick class. You guys running 8 second cars don't want to race 16 second cars that may enter and destroy your fast cars doing so. So it's a 16 car field now, must qualify and anyone not qualifying can move to ANY OTHER class their car is LEGAL for.

I will be making the trip with some friends.. Should be a good time, last time I was at the shootout was 1999 I believe haha.

 

HUGE vendor turn out this year. There are a lot of vendors contacting us last minute getting signed up. We will have an actual vendor row this year, all of you be sure to stop by and check out what the vendors have going on.

Also SPREAD THE WORD AND DON'T FORGET. FRIDAY IS NOW THE "DYNO DAY". NO COMPETITION, JUST GOING TO OFFER THE DYNO UP, $50 FOR THREE PULLS. SATURDAY IS AT THE RACE TRACK AND SO IS SUNDAY!!

 

What are the hours for pulls? If I get before you close down I might make a few.

We are so excited about the event we are having a pre-shootout hang out / party at my place this Saturday to get everyones **** together.

dave are you guys shutting down the town on fri for this, is this like your usual open house

 

I have owed 8 cars with a 4g63t and this will be my first shootout that I will be able to make it to. Can't wait.

 

The hours are 9-5 on Friday. We are not shutting the town down this year, this Friday thing is kind of last minute. I think we can get by parking here at the shop and field behind us.
