So took the car to the track for the first time......

I have a 2006 Evo GSR which I got in August of last year. Mods are DNP manifold, DNP o2, 3' turboback, AMS fmic, and INjen piping, Hallman boost controller, synapse dv, ACT clutch aem gauges. I havent done anything to the car except get a street tune on it, put the dv on. Car spikes 26 and bleeds off through the rpms down to about 20psi. Im reving to about 7800. Car is on 93 oct and the tune can be leaned out a little.

So anyway, took the car to the track for the first time last night and ran a 12.70 @ 110 with a 1.83 60'. Backed it up with a 12.73 @ 110 with a 1.86 60'. Tried to get the 60' down but guess I need somemore driving time. Runs where hot lapped too.

So just seeing if my time matches my mods or should I be seeing some better times?

Thanks in advance.

I think you could run better times. My IX had a few less mods than yours and ran 12.4 @ 111mph on stock clutch.

1.8's are pretty good for your first time out.

I launch at 6500 and drop air pressure to 18psi on street tires and get 1.6's but also have a lot of solid mounts.

yeah i think i need to raise my 2-step its @ 5500 i believe i would like it atleast to 6000 but think i need to do some solid mounts first.

think i need to do a leak down test too. I feel my boost is bleeding to fast.

Also need to lean out my tune down low. way to rich

Im also on heavy aftermarket wheels and tires 255 all the way around

For similarity, My Evo IX in 2009 went 12.33 on a street tune, stock clutch, AMS Front mount, LICP, Stock upper pipe, Intake, pump gas 23 pounds, TBE, street tires, and Tein S techs. So ur not that far off at all, with a little more seat time and cut a lower 60ft u will be right around there Nice pass and Good luck!

Is that caused by a weak wastegate?

Check that: realized today that from a stop launching and going through gears only on 20 pounds. I only see 26 psi if im crusing in say 4th gear and hit it.

Normal. You'll never hit the peak boost going down the drag strip that you'll see from a roll on the street.
