So yesterday I took my stock motor 100k mile DD Evo to the Nscra Event @ PBIR.
Quick rundown on the car is:
stock block
FabWorx 6262 turbo kit
Cams and head studs
twin disc
hoosier drag radials on stock rims
E85 with 2150s and stock Ecu

So i entered the True Street Class knowing I'd get my butt whooped lol. I qualified with a 10.7@136. Went to the first round of eliminations against a tan DSM, he red lit so that puts me on to round 2. I had missed 2nd in the second round of qualifying and the first round of elimination so I hurt the tranny and the car wouldn't goto into 2nd. So on to round 2 I race the #1 guy in a supra who went 9.1 letting off. I leave hard and miss second lol, look over and he had went sideways so I go thru the gears and go 11.5@133 and win. That was a gift there!! But hey thats drag racing. Now on to round 3!!! Im up against a new GTR who went 9.6 the pass before, I leave and miss 2nd again and he goes 9.9 and beats me.
So all of that and I take 3rd place in a class that I should have gotten killed in. Great Weekend for me after all.

 

Just goes to show that you don't always have to have the quickest car to go rounds in drag racing!
