So when I look at some 1/4 mile times. I sometimes see ET posted by the time and I sometimes dont. Can anyone clarify?

 

Not sure what is even being asked, but ET = Elapsed Time. It starts when the car crosses the roll-out line and stops when you cross the trap line 1,320ft away. If it's not labeled on the time slip, its probably because they assume you can figure it out.
