track results

I went to the track last week and ran my Evo with only a MBC and SAFC........Boost set at 20psi and safc leaned out to about -11 on the high end. Ran only twice 13.4@102 with a 1.80 60ft and a 13.2@103 with a 1.77 60ft. Beat my friends stock STi, he ran a best of 13.3@100mph with a low 1.8x 60 ft. Not bad for a stock STi. Kinda funny though that his 300hp/300tq car and lost to my 271/273 car with only a little tuning on a my stock evo.

Re: track results

either your driving needs some improvement, or you are at high altitude??? i ran 13.4@102 totally stock...... i would imagine with a boost controller and a/f adj you should be 12.7ish.....

yea, that's what a stock sti should run 13.3 @ around 103 mph, not exactly that funny, about the Sti being slower than one of your track times knowing the evo runs a 13.4 @ 103, and you have a boost controller set at a higher boost, not to mention an SAFC, can't remember what the STI runs at for boost but I know the stock wrx runs at a max of 14.5 psi, I'd love to see the Sti run you at 20 PSI

I'm with them I ran 13.56@96 so I know I can get faster but I did have an HKS rs kit doubt that dropped my time though... I think I could run a 13.3 as is maybe a 13.2 I had a 60ft of 1.9 and I know I could have got more... but we'll never know cause I got a package today from BR haha 1st of 2 second comes tomorrow...

EVO + MBC + AFC < STI
$29000 +$50+$300=$29350 < $31000+

Plus better handling for the EVO. I'd like to see a stock STI run on 20 PSI--It would be like an EVO running 24-25 PSI.

I think that's a good time for the EVO as compared to the STI --with only two mods to the EVO

I dont think the STi's stock turbo can even puff out 20 psi.

I run a 1.77 60ft and you think I need driving improvement? I will say that my car has not been ****ing correctly and the syncros are a little messed up, but I think that 13.2 is pretty good since the fastest stock evo in my state has run only 13.5@100.

Too funny Good job on the runs. What state do you live in where a 13.5 was the quickest?
