First Time at track

After 6 years of ownership I finally brought my 2005 Evo VIII to englishtown. Overall i'm very happy with the results. Here is a current mod list:

Injen Intake w/Perrin Filter
Injen UICP, AMS LICP
Exedy Twin Disc HD
Forge DV
RRE Stealth 3" catback
MXP 3" DP
Meagan O2 Housing
Milspec 100 Cell Cat
Ignalls Torque Damper
Bilstein HD's w/Swift Spec R's
All season tires

All runs @24 psi on Pump gas
Best trap speed was 111.18
Best ET 12.411

I'm in the Left Lane

Car needs a retune/alignment badly. I'll be heading over to Ivey once I figure out what snail to put under the hood. Overall I think with a retune, a better 60', and a nice alignment, the car has a 11.9 in her. This is my first time ever drag racing so I'm hooked!

Thats pretty good for your first time, u should be breaking 11's in no time. What turbo are u considering.

I hope so! 11's like a boss mang.

Honestly its a split between the MAP EF2 & EF3. I think the laggier EF3 will be easier on my internals as my block is sitting at 104k. I have yet to try autocross, so maybe after a session I'll want to stick with the most responsive turbo. For now the EF3 is looking mighty fine. Not to mention MAP is arguably the best vendor on the forum. Adam always hooks it up.

Id say shes somewhere between 340-350 awhp depending on the dyno.

My best trap speed was 111, so maybe some of the guys on here more familiar with the correlation between trap speeds and hp numbers could chime in.

I feel you. I was stuck between a fp black or a fs635 for like a year. I went with the fs635, wanted more power. Low 11's should be easy with the EF3. Good luck mang!
