EVO vs N/A Stang BEAST!

EVO: reflash, mbc set @ 19 psi, air filter, and on snow tires.

Stang: late 80s, not sure what mods exactly, but its N/A. The owner said he ran a 12.2 @ 112. Stang was on Hoosier Quick Time Pros.
You MUST right click, save as, and rename the .JPG extension to .WMV

BTW, the first big green sign is the end of the 1/4 mile.

Ken

Yeah, those Fox body Stangs are bastards!
It's like Russian Roulette every time you line up with one. Some are turd slow, others a really quick. Best way, as always, see whats under the hood.

Edit: Upon further inspection, that thing was geared pretty low. Sure he won the quarter, but go a half and see what happens. I bet you could have top-ended him like crazy. He was in the top of fourth by the end (1st video), and it didn't look like you guys were movin' all that fast. I'd bet he had 4.10s at least. No way that car could see 150

Edit #2: Nothing against that Stang by any means. I just finished watching the 2nd video. He even missed a shift a still pulled on you. Looks like it's time for more mods.

GREAT holeshot by the way. I wonder if that guy thought he was about to be own3d.

Speaking of holeshots, what was your method. Redline clutch dump? Or did you feather it and slip it quickly?
