Need launching advice!

So today was my second day ever on the track, and my first day with the car after the built:

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/all-mitsubishi-model-build-threads/624461-dnetcrawlers-2012-gsr-ams-ind-bulletproof.html

Below are the best numbers I got. I definitely had problems with my launch, and although I have driven 5 speed my entire life, I couldn't really get a good grasp.

I'm sure with all the mods in the car, I should be on the high 10s side, rather than 12 :|

All advice are welcomed!

Pre-load your drive train at the line, start 2 step, release clutch slowly till your car starts to grip, let go of the clutch. I would also look for some sort of boost leak or something? 116 trap speed on a 450HP car doesn't match.

Thank you for the advice! The car is actually making 577whp so I'm expecting it would do lots better.

I think the problem was that traction control was on. Will be turning it off on next time, and will be also test your advice to pre-load.

if it's making 577 WHP you should be upwards of 135mph so since you're 20+mph off.... there's something wrong.

As far as launching goes, do you preload the drivetrain with the ebrake? or what is your approach to the launch. And also yes there is no way that your car is putting 577whp to the ground. Check for some boost leaks, even a bad driver could get that to trap over 120mph.
