13.3@110.

Went to the track last wed. My mods include: AEM intake, RSR turboback, mbc set at 21psi, safc (mild tune) and lancershop o2 housing. My best time before the turboback and o2 housing was 12.86@106mph with a 1.74 60ft. Well I plain sucked it up on my launches. Its been a while since I have been to the track, so I was a little out of practice. I would try my normal 6k slip, but I kept bogging all the way down to 3k.... oh well. Anyways my best time was a 13.3@110mph with a 2.0 60ft. I did enjoy the trap speed though. I guess I need to remember how to launch again before I go back, should be able to pull a mid 12 in the car. Ill keep you guys posted.

cliff notes. 13.3@110 with a 2.0 60ft.

110 mph traps are good for mid to low 12's, like you said.... all you need to do is re-learn how to launch It is always good to see a 4 mph gain in trap speed Were your runs on pump gas or race gas?

Your 60s look like mine but I did manage to get a 1.9 and bust a 12.4 at 112mph. My 2.0-2.2 60s and boning gear shifts(tranny locks me out at high rpms) all netted me 12.6-12.9s at over 108-112 depending on the severity of the f-up. My 12.4 was my only clean run with under a 2.0 60. My 1.8 60 I got locked out of 2nd gear completely and double clutched twice and still did a high 12.Yes I agree it is all in the launch and shifting fast to get the optimal time. Smogrunner busted 12.2s-12.3s with 1.7s all day and we both have the same set-up and our cars trap similarly 112-113mph. Also some tracks are faster than others and trapspeeds also vary from track to track. It appears that alot of good times and trap speeds come out of E-town and a couple of other places out East. Track conditions, weather, altitude and track prep all play a major role in getting good times and getting high traps. I heard Sacramento was fast out here in the West. Maybe next time I head out that way I'll stop by and see for myself.
