you're about to line up, what do you do?
When ever I go to the track I tell the guy no water in the burnout box, but last time I went he didn't see me and he sprayed the floor. How do I dry off my tires? What should I do? Or does it not mater? I just wanted to know what other awd cars do when this happens?

Drive around it?
|
Drive around it if you can , if not drive right through and lay waste to the 5.0 Mudstain next to you anyway with wet tires. next tire yell at th eguy not to spray.

Well, with my power, my tires spin off the line if I give too much gas or don't have enough traction, so launching at a very high rpm in the burnout box with wet tires makes it pretty easy. I don't do a standing burnout. I just force the tires to spin a bit.

And how do you do it, do you dump the clutch or do you slip it a little? Thank you for the help... |
That's far more power than I've ever had. I started having trouble with wheelspin back as low as 270wtq.
It's more of a dump, because I try to overpower the tires right away - it's done at very high rpm. I never dump the clutch in a situation where I'd get full traction. |

AWD burnouts arent worth the drivetrain stress if you ask me, unless you are running 10's maybe. thats my 2c |

Hey 2 much, i read your sig, I owned every year 70's era z-Car and loved them all. 1976 280 and 74 260 late version were my favorites. sorry off topic but i gotta love my z's.

Dude, you don't have to line up at the line right when you drive up. The Domestics do a long a$$ burnout anywayz so just hit Reverse, drive back, throw it in First, drive up, and repeat until your ready...HAHAHHAA
