Back to the track.
I've got an 05 non-ssl.
When I was stock, I went once to the track once @ 3750 miles. Times here Now my car has 18k on it. I ran it with full interior, over a 1/2 tank of gas (100% 93oct.), the spare/jack/tools, the car is mechanically stock minus the following mods; 3" TBE Forge UNOS MBC @ 21.5psi>18.5psi taper AMS LICP FORGE BOV It was about 70 degrees out, 50-60% humidity. I only got to make 3 runs and since I'm on the stock clutch I started easy in the first 2 runs to get a feel for it (I dont launch it often). I gave it hell on the third pass and was satisfied for the night so I left, with no broken parts {thumbup} Anyways; 60'-1.786 330'-5.199 1/8-8.072 MPH-85.71 1000-10.582 1/4-12.710 MPH-106.18 I trapped 107.4 in the second run, but the traps were lower than I expected. The launch method I used on the last run was perfect, my crappy clutch didn't slip at all. I took a huge whiff off of the hood vent right after the run and couldn't smell anything either which was a good sign. |
Really good driving, but that's why your stock traps were so hard to believe, since they were just about the same.
|
Thanks.
They were what they were stock. But it probably had something to do with it being 30-40 degrees colder and no humidity. Im happy with the driving but could have done with a little more trap speed. Time for some ecuflash. |
Those stock traps are insane.
|
Those mods are worth more power than the weather differences, so I dunno.
Yes, time for EcuFlash, indeed. |
I still cant get over those stock traps. I could only run a 13.5 @97 or 98 mph not launching hard w/ a 1.8 60' here in AZ with it being in the low 70's or so.
