With a 1.8 60ft it ended up with a 10.8 @ 135!!

Again Huge Thanks To Jimmy and Junior for making this happen!

Of Course for the 3rd straight different track in a row, I was told I need a Roll cage, Fire Jacket, actually a Rule Book..

Nice job man. The next setup I build for my car will prolly be a TS t4 setup.

Take that thing back out on 40psi!

Great job Freddy

any pictures of the set-up?

was this the white wingless at NED friday?

Thanks guys! 40 plus PSI Next time.. but I have to wait till a track rental.. they are a little more "friendly" about not having all the proper safety equipment. If low boost/pump gas is getting me kicked out.. Not sure what 10+ PSI and a sh!t load more timing is gonna do..

This was in Dirty Jersey, not NED lol

Freddy your car is insane! A +135mph pump gas car is just ridiculous.. Now gut that pig and I think we're going 140!

Manny@TurboTrix Apr 27, 2009 09:16 AM

Congrats buddy.

10.8 on pump gas with a 1.8 60 ft? Nice job man that is awesome.

Hell if you cut a 1.5 60 ft you'd probably run a 10.2 or so. Dave Buschur had to step up to a slightly bigger turbo than a 35R if I recall to get into the 9's on pump. So basically it seems your making the same power as Dave's RS on pump?

Isn't 29psi a dangerously high for 93octane?

riceball777 Apr 27, 2009 02:23 PM

Twinscroll is the only way to go

It depends on a lot of factors. Larger turbos are more efficient at 30 psi than smaller turbos, therefore the charge temps are lower. Also, larger turbos normally mean larger headers and turbine housings, this means less back pressure, which also can help fight detonation. Plus many other factors. Basically there is no rule of thumb that says X amount of boost pressure for Y amount of octane. Every car/setup is different.
