ok this is it. If u need anime u should be looking for me. i may be a car freak but i am also an anime freak in my 240gb comp, 220 is anime 5 is games and about 15 free. but my response to Initial D is that dont it seem to fake

 

some of it is fake....drifting on dry pavement is never faster that gripping...but in the rain,on dirt,snow or ice drifting is much faster than gripping

but accuracy is not the issue...it just looks cool

IF you guys want anime dont use programs like Kazza with spy ware or use WinMX start using mIRC and go into servers and channels where you can get fansubs or use newsgroups and get rar files from there and 180 gigs of movies and anime = nothing~
oh yea btw 2 seasons of initial d first stage 26 eps second stage 13 eps 1 movie 3rd stage and then a OVA series called extra stage.

 

yeh luckly my friend owns everything inital-d so i get to watch them all....if your jsut into drifting and racing i would go look up on ebay battle stage its just every single race scene throughout the whole series without the story..check ebay u can find every single episode and dvd for like 60 bucks not bad.....

regarding that mpeg of the skyline and the cop car... whomever made it didn't consider anything when it came to drifting, nor the skill levels of either driver.
i know it's just an animation, but while the skyline was drifting to all hell, the cop car was never ever losing... and apparently, the cop car was doing pretty well until the last minute where the turn doesn't even seem non-negotionable... but instead, he crashes and flips to all hell... HAHA! that made me laugh!

yeah, totally initial D; even the song! 2 thumbs down...

i hope its more realistic than those jackie chan movies(the one with the fto and gto?). i also saw this cgi of the red signal s15 and it really really looked initial d-ish. anyone know if it's part of the continuation of the series? it was on this drifting compilation off of www.racingflix.com. you'll need to register to download.

Never saw Initial D (not yet) But this was still pretty funny, even if it was a rip off. Good point about the cop stayin with him during the drifts. Almost makes ya wonder what's the point of drifting...if ya didn't know better

 

My only problem with Initial D, is that 40% of what i've got is dubbed into cantonese... especially 2nd stage

The original japanese version just sounds better to me
