are u guys talking about left foot braking??? You just basically keep your foot on the gas and brake with your left foot. Rally drivers do this a lot.

It is bad for everything that is effected by heat, so yes on both accounts... and YES, I RUINED a set of brake pads, rotors, and a bunch of fluid by playing with it, it shouldbe obvious why it cooks everything. My car had 400hp and I was trying to contain it in 4 brake pads.

I track my car at PIR a few times a year, and this is a technique I use from turn 3 to 7 to get thru the back side of the track. Left foot braking is considered an advaced technique but in my experience it's required to keep the back end of the car planted and maintain boost pressure. It causes a lot of heat to be generated on the rotors/pads yes. I went thru a full set of pads to learn this, but after equipping proper race pads and good fluid the car handles it with no problem. Just remember that your feet have to work opposite of each other, as you apply the brake, you don't want the car to be at full throttle, modulation is key. As you clear the corner and apply more gas, also remove the same amount of brake at the same time. You'll know your doing it right when you realise there's no lag, and the car feels like a normally asperated car with throttle response. Obviously you need to keep the car above 3,500RPM on the stocker turbo.
